While we are done raising pups here, we are still offering stud service with Jack.
We unbiasedly (of course)think he’s hands down the best dog, love his loyalty, calm personality and his playfulness… And have always hoped to raise all our pups to be like him.
He is AKC registered, OFA certified hip, elbows and heart. Genetic testing is all clear. Brucellosis testing negative. Has sired many large litters.

I know, you haven’t heard from us for awhile. Today, Momma Raya is officially done with motherhood. 😢
She’s feeling super groggy and very slow moving but her sweet tail wagging tells us that she still loves us.
Praying for a speedy healing and recovery. ❤️

This chapter is now finished in our family’s life.

Harvey, now Cedar, went home to his new family where he will live with another homeschool family and two other goldens.
I love that he will be with his people almost 24/7 like he was here.
This guy really stole my heart this last week, and as my husband told me, I probably set myself up for heartbreak and tears…because we all know how much I get attached and how much I have loved every one of the puppies that we’ve had hit the ground here at GFR.
That’s it, guys.

It’s been an amazing experience and thank you so much to everyone who chose us when they chose a breeder for their new family member.

Momma Raya got a new sweater to keep warm in these cold winds that we’ve been experiencing.
Did you know that dogs- like human mommas sometimes- experience hair loss with childbirth and nursing? This time, Raya lost quite a bit of hair and now we are just trying to make sure she stays warm (and stylish?🤷🏻‍♀️).
Harvey’s here one more day and soaking up the snuggles with momma and the rest of us.

Pumpkin, now Banks, just left us for his new home- where he has a big brother from one of Raya and Jack’s previous litters (Spruce- now Sammy) AND a human baby brother!
This mom and dad love potty training (They didn’t say that!🤣)
