We are a do it yourself pet wash with a state of the art pet washing station, offering, oatmeal shampoo, tear free shampoo, conditioner, flea and tick treatment, pet deodorizer, blow dryer and tub disinfectant (for use before and after wash).

PSA: PLEASE DO NOT use tomato juice on a skunked dog at the pet wash!

The Pet Deodorizer option on the pet wash machine is specifically designed to neutralize ALL nasty pet odors, and is highly effective for skunk odors! Please DO NOT use tomato juice on your pets at the pet wash!

We had an incident this weekend where an entire jug of tomato juice was used on a skunked dog, and it completely clogged the hair trap and drain inside the machine. This caused tomato juice slime, tons of dog fur, and water to back up inside the machine which created a mess on the floor of the pet wash, and the skunk smell was still there hours later.

There have been numerous skunked dogs getting baths at the pet wash over the years using only the Pet Deodorizer option, and you couldn't even tell they had been there..NO skunk smell and NO huge mess to clean up afterwards!

We apologize to the patrons who later came in to wash their dogs, and had to deal with the smell and messy floor before I got there to clean it all up.

If you notice a mess like this, please do not hesitate to send us a message so we can come in right away and take care of it. It would be much appreciated! Thank you!

**UPDATE**

As of today, December 20th, the new card reader has been installed and the pet wash is ready to go. Accepts both cards and cash. Thank you so much for your patience and patronage!!

The card reader on the pet wash machine is currently down. The machine still accepts cash for washes. Please use exact change as the machine does not give change - $10. We have a new card reader being shipped and hope to get it fixed soon. Thank you for your understanding and sorry for any inconvenience. Happy Thanksgiving!

We are so excited for the Waverly Heritage Days Parade tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.! We will have a display in the parade with our Waverly DIY Pet Wash family! We will be handing out 🍬CANDY🍭 for all of the kiddos that come to watch the parade as well as handing out a 🦴bag of TREATS🫓 for any four legged companions we see too! If you're unable to bring your pets to the parade, that's okay!! Just make sure you ask us for a bag of treats to take home for them! Today Thor visited the Waverly DIY Pet Wash and let me tell you how much of a blessing (and back saver!) it was! Thor is an almost 10 month old, 130 lb Mastiff puppy, so leaning over a short bathtub to bathe him has been a very daunting task! With the handy collar attachment, I could easily turn my head and change from the shampoo setting to another setting and not have to worry about him jumping out of the tub! I was slightly nervous at first with the dryer but my big ole pup wasn’t upset by it once he heard it going :) Oh, and a free bag of natural, yummy dog treats?! Awesome! Honestly can’t say enough great things! We will definitely be back, maybe with a few more paws to wash :P
