Blacks and reds, both tri and bi are possible. We expect puppies that will excel in any venue. Shaker has a sweet temperament and is easy to live with. Seven has a fun personality. She's alway up for the next adventure. She currently competes in conformation, rally & obedience, and is training in agility. We have had her on stock and she shows great instinct.

Are you listening…….

“He is just being a jerk.”
“I told him not to do that!”
“Why does she always blow me off?”

These are things we hear in the herding world ALOT! Why? Why is our first response to blame the dog?
I believe it is all about language …..

Humans communicate-
• 7% Verbal: The actual words spoken.
• 38% Vocal: Tone, inflection, volume, and rhythm (paralanguage).
• 55% Visual: Body language, facial expressions, and gestures.

Dogs communicate over 90% body language and the
rest tone. They don’t use words….

Our dogs spend their WHOLE LIVES learning to communicate
with us. What our words mean, what our tone means, our
expressions ect…..

We spend our dogs WHOLE LIVES teaching them our language ,
our cues, our tone…..we spend VERY little of their lives learning their language.

Our dogs are ALWAYS speaking to us, in their minds they have told us loud and clear that they are going to dive into that sheep, break the start line, chase that rabbit.

When we don’t respond we have clearly“In the dogs mind” said that whatever behavior they are going to do is OK!

Dog does said behavior and then gets into big trouble because
“He is just being a jerk!” “He knows better!”

Instead of always looking at what we are going to “teach”
our dogs, let’s spend more time listening to our dogs and
responding accordingly.

We will be able to spend a lot less time correcting our dogs
and a lot more time telling them they are a good partner!
In turn we will be a MUCH better partner for our dog!

The puppies are 4 weeks now. Their personalities are starting to come through. We start adding all kinds of fun toys and experiences for them this week.

Two weeks today! Will do individual pictures in a bit. Eyes are almost all open and these puppies have places to go. They are walking around the whelping box quite a bit.
