🍯💕 Meet Honey & Sugar — Two Sweet Girls Looking for Their Happily Ever After! 💕🍬
Hi everyone! We’re Honey and Sugar, and trust us when we say our names fit us perfectly! We’re just two sweet little ladies looking for someone to love us through our golden years. ❤️
🍯 First up, I’m Honey!
I’m a 10-year-old Havanese with a heart as sweet as my name! I spent the first 7 years of my life in a breeding facility, so I know what it’s like to miss out on the good things in life. Thankfully, those days are behind me!
I’m a pretty easygoing girl who doesn’t ask for much. Give me a comfy place to relax, someone to love me, and my squeaky ball, and I’m one happy little lady! 🥰 I absolutely LOVE chasing that ball!
I’m mostly house trained, although I do still have an occasional accident. Hey, nobody’s perfect! 😉
🍬 And I’m Sugar!
I’m an almost 11-year-old Maltese, and while my name might be sweet, I’m a little more cautious about handing out my love.
You see, I spent the first 9 years of my life in a breeding facility, so trusting people doesn’t come quite as easily to me. I’m a little skittish, and I need someone who understands that love and trust take time.
But here’s the thing… if you’re patient, gentle, and willing to let me come around at my own pace, you just might become MY person. ❤️ And there’s something pretty special about earning the love of a dog who hasn’t always known kindness.
💕 A Little About Us Together!
We’ve been together for the past 2 years, and we get along wonderfully! We’re both good with other dogs and children, too!
Our previous family loves us very, very much. Unfortunately, due to health issues, they’re no longer able to give us the care we deserve. Saying goodbye to us has been heartbreaking for them, and they want nothing more than to know their two “sweets” will be loved and cherished. 💔
Now, here’s where things get a little different!
🐾 Sugar would really benefit from staying with Honey OR finding a home with another friendly dog to bond with. Having a furry friend helps a girl like her feel a little more secure.
🐾 Honey is a bit more independent and would do just fine finding a forever family of her very own!
We do NOT have to be adopted together, although finding a home together would certainly be sweet! 💕
We’ve already spent so many years of our lives waiting for the good stuff. Now we’re just hoping to find families who will make the rest of our years the very best ones yet.
We don’t need fancy things or grand adventures. Just soft beds, gentle hands, a little patience, and someone who will love us for exactly who we are. ❤️
