Yes, I know my house is messy right now, thats the way my paddy boy likes it, more for him to get into 🤣.

For the record, as i have apparently been "called out" by coastline according to some people who mentioned a comment made by her wife just recently followed by a picture of a very non descript rat without a timestamp. When i said that I think proof of life should be provided, I meant a time stamped video showing her rattery with all of her rats alive and well, not a picture of a single rat who could have easily been photographed months ago, or even come from a pet store 🤦‍♀️. I mean, why not just take a picture of the rattery showing the rats? This is the last I am going to say on the subject, as the blacklisting is up, and showing how she is purposely hiding the negative comments from her adopters, as well as more proof of her actions in the comments of the post.

Well, Coastline appears to have come out of hiding, so if any of the adopters who were coming from her wish to return to her waitlist, it is your choice to do so. If you do, please let me know so that I can remove your name from my waitlist, if you'd rather stick with me, that is also fine. I am still moving forward with the blacklist against her due to the sale of underage babies, tumors, and reports of aggression, as well as her recent unprofessional behavior regarding going awol for months. I'm sorry if this upsets anyone, but I feel that the community has a right to know about these issues so that they can make an educated decision to adopt from her or not.

COASTLINE UPDATE:

I am providing this update regarding coastline with a profound sense of disappointment. Several adopters have come forward, revealing disturbingly unethical practices on her part. A few adopters have reported instances of aggression, including in females, tumors, and the sale of 4-week-old babies. If these incidents have occurred with anyone else, I offer my sincerest apologies. It is no secret that i do not particularly like coastline, due to her behavior both during and after her mentorship with me. During the timeframe that i mentored her, and she got numerous rats from me, she was also called out for unethical practices such as getting rats from reptile expo feeder bins, craigslist, and breeders with known HA in their lines. While Coastline did get a lot of her stock from me, her choices in obtaining feeder quality rats and her unethical breeding practices, that i did not condone and explicitly told her to refrain from, have caused severe issues with the rats she now has. I will not be issuing an official blacklist at this time due to her ongoing unresponsiveness, however, such action will be taken if she reappears in the future, supported by the numerous screenshots provided by her adopters. These findings are not speculative; they are factual. I have included one such screenshot in this post, as its content is truly uncomprehendable. Another screenshot serves as proof that this individual is indeed Amanda Redman/Coastline. I personally typed in the link in the "identity confirmation" screenshot and was brought directly to Coastlines website. For those who are unsure on what the first photo is showing, there are clearly multiple litters in the photo, and there is no way she could tell which babies belonged to which mom, this is a lineage and info tracking issue. Secondly, these babies can only be a maximum of 1-2 weeks old, as they are furred but eyes are not yet open. Stating that these babies will be ready in 2-3 weeks is a clear sale of 4-5 week old babies, and extremely unethical. Not only could these babies die from being separated too early, but they can also develop temperament issues due to the extreme anxiety brought on by being taken from their mother too soon. And lastly, stating that they have specific personalities at 2 weeks or under is just INSANE. They are not even out of the nest and truly mobile yet at this age 🙄.

My husband is back at work this morning after a month-long vacation. We were very productive during his time off and managed to get my car back on the road. Going forward, adopters can collect their pets at their convenience. I am available for pickups nearly every day between 9am and 8pm, except for scheduled appointments such as doctor or dentist visits.

My sweet little girl Clinger has blessed us with 6 sweet little beans. They were born this morning around 10am. Father is our resident dwarf male Tidbit, and while he hasn't seen his babies, he seems very proud of himself today 🥰

We have decided to build a dedicated small shed that will be used as a free roam room. It will obviously have actual walls and flooring etc, but we would love some feedback ideas on color schemes and fun items for a climbing wall, as well as stand alone items that your ratties have enjoyed! We will be sharing our progress on this project, so please feel welcome to share your thoughts and ideas, we want this to be an absolute rat paradise 🥰

I have set up an old cage that I don't really use anymore in the front yard here to let the ratties see the outdoors safely. These guys are getting some sunshine, fresh air and peanuts while i clean cages. They seem thrilled with this idea, and think it is much better than going in the small bin cage while i clean. 🥰
