Sadie is patiently awaiting her Forever Home. We assisted The Hope Highway when they took in several puppies and requested our assistance (thank you to Brenda Edmunds for contacting us). Sadie is a sweet girl who loves to play and enjoys car rides and walks. She does get distracted on her walks as she is very interested in the squirrels and birds. She does well with other dogs. Not sure about cats. She is still a puppy, so she does tend to use those sharp little teeth at times, so caution should be taken with small children. She is a little shy when first meeting someone new but warms up once she gains your trust. In her free time, she enjoys digging holes in our fenced in backyard - perhaps she is looking for some hidden treasure.

Sadie's DOB is 10/1/2025. She is spayed, microchipped, HW Negative and is current on all vaccinations.

Her DNA Results: 23% Chihuahua, 12% Australian Cattle Dog, 12% Chow Chow, 11% American Pit Bull Terrier and 9% American Staffordshire Terrier. Sadie is small in stature (29 pounds), but huge on personality. Her adoption fee is $150.00.

If you are interested in meeting Sadie, we ask that you first complete an Adoption Application which can be found on our Website under Adoption Fees. Once the application has been processed, we will contact you for a Meet and Greet. Everyone who lives in the home must come meet Sadie. If you currently have pets in your home, they must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations. If you currently have a dog in your home, they will need to come meet Sadie too. If you own your home, we ask for proof such as a copy of your Tax Document or Mortgage Statement. If you rent, we will contact your Landlord.

Please feel free to e-mail us or send a PM through our page if you have any questions about Sadie.

Let's find this girl her Forever Home.

Dart and Mask are two brothers patiently waiting for the perfect Forever Home. They are growing up before our eyes - no longer the 3-pound kittens when they first arrived here. They would love to be adopted together, but not necessary. Each of them has their own unique personality. It would be great if they had a playmate in their new home. They are quite playful and will definitely entertain you.

Their DOB is 9/13/2025. They are neutered, microchipped, FelV/FIV Negative and are current on all vaccinations.

ADOPTION PROCEDURES:

EVERYONE who lives in the home must come meet them. If you own your own home, we require proof such as a copy of your Tax Document or Mortgage Statement. If you rent, we will contact your landlord. If you currently have pets or have had pets in the last 5 years, we will call your Vet Clinic. All pets currently in the home must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations.

You can visit Dart and Mask during our Open Hours on Monday 4-7 pm and Thursday 2-6 pm

Adopting a shy cat or kitten from a shelter is a deeply rewarding journey that transforms often-overlooked "hiders" into loyal, loving companions. These "diamonds in the rough" may be fearful due to past trauma or the overwhelming noise and smells of a busy shelter. By giving them the gift of time and patience, you are not just saving a life—you are earning a unique, exclusive trust that results in an incredibly strong bond. They should go together or go to a home with a confident cat.

Meet Mimi— a gentle, special‑needs black kitty looking for a loving home! She has been here since September

Mimi is a sweet, calm, affectionate girl who loves soft blankets, her toys, quiet company, and gentle pets. She’s about 2 years old, spayed, microchipped and up‑to‑date on her vet care.

Mimi has a hip joint issue that makes her movements a little stiff, but she gets around well and enjoys a peaceful, cozy life. She doesn’t need anything complicated — just a soft place to rest, a low‑stress home, maybe some pet stairs to get to higher places and, most importantly, someone who understands her limitations, but loves her regardless.

She would do best in a quieter, indoor‑only home with adults or older children. She’s okay with other pets who respect her space. She loves to play, so she would love a companion that is willing throw a toy or two for her to chase.

If you’re looking for a loving companion who will be forever grateful for a safe, gentle home, Mimi would be your perfect match.

UPDATE -ADOPTED!

Sheree came to our Shelter as a stray. She started losing weight, so a trip to the Vet Clinic revealed she had an Intestinal Virus. She has fully recovered and is ready for her Forever Home. She is a VERY affectionate gal who loves everyone she meets. She will follow the volunteers around the room when they are cleaning. She loves attention and will let you know when she needs more. She does well with other cats.

Her estimated DOB is 3/13/2025. She is spayed, microchipped, FelV/FIV Negative and is current on all vaccinations.

Please feel free to come meet her during our Open Hours on Monday 4-7 pm and Thursday, 2-6 pm.

💖 Looking for a Forever Home for Two Best Friends – Meet Sam & Tuxedo 💖

Sam and Tuxedo are more than just cats — they’re lifelong companions who have shared every nap, every sunbeam, and every gentle head bump for over a decade. They are a bonded pair, which means they find comfort, joy, and security in each other’s presence.

These sweet seniors are living with early chronic kidney disease, a common condition in older cats that is manageable with proper care. They’re both stable, comfortable, and still have so much love to give. Their needs are simple: a calm home, a consistent diet, fresh water, and regular vet checkups.

Why adopt them together?

They keep each other company, reducing stress and loneliness.
Their bond is heartwarming to witness — they groom each other, cuddle, and even “talk” to one another.
You’ll be giving two deserving souls the gift of staying together in their golden years.
What you’ll get in return:

Endless affection and companionship.
Quiet moments of pure peace as they nap side-by-side.
The joy of knowing you’ve made a profound difference in their lives.
If you have room in your heart and home for two gentle, loving seniors, please consider opening your door to Sam and Tuxedo. They’ve given each other a lifetime of love — now they’re hoping to share it with you.
