Dogs and cats can grab inappropriate food off floor or counter quickly! Make sure your pet gets good, nutritious food to eat that satisfies their needs. Treats should also be good and not loaded with sugar, carbs like potato or tapioca, artificial color, etc. Read your labels to see what is in your pet's food and treats. Dogs, especially puppies, see everything as a plaything. Chewing is helpful for puppy's teething, exercise, stress and boredom reliever. Give your dog a variety of toys-some for hard chewing, some for playing with. Not all toys are appropriate for all dogs! Teach your dog what is for him to have and what isn't. Ask us for ideas for your dog's individual chewing and playing needs!

School back in session in most school districts locally. Changes in your home schedule can be upsetting for dogs and cats. Give them a little more attention when you are home and leave them with an interactive toy to keep them busy while you're not home. We have several choices here for dogs as well as cats.
