"Where you start and where you finish are two different places." - Justin Michaels

This statement couldn't be more true for Asher. He has made tremendous growth, gained confidence, accepted peace and hopefully found his furever home. A true rehabilitation story. A dog who would make his self bleed to escape the crate is now dashing to the crate for meal time. A dog who was scared and untrusting now can appropriately greet strangers. A dog who was willing to run away now chooses to be close. As a trainer I've learned alot from this dog. With the support of K9 Rehab & Training with Bria I was able to help Asher through his troubles successfully. I'm so grateful to be apart of his life.

Asher has found his new owners. People who have committed to loving Asher and continue giving him rules, structure and love. He is in his "Foster to Adopt" phase with them and I wish him and his family the best.

Foster Spotlight - Christine Lloyd

Christine fosters for New Life for Paws and has come down from Holyoke, Massachusetts week after week to join our Underdog Project and help her foster dog “Mocha” become adoptable.

Mocha is a very difficult dog because of her aggression and lack of trust. Christine not only makes the drive every week but also never gives up on Mocha who has given her every reason to question the process.

Bravo Christine. You are what fostering is supposed to be.
