Howard Veterinary Clinic We are a small and large animal clinic and hospital. We also offer end of life services such as euthanasia and cremation.

We offer a large range of small and large animal services including : general small animal surgeries ie: spays and neuters of dogs, cats, rabbits; declaws, dewclaw removals, tail docks,dentals, vaccinations, microchipping and well animal exams. We also offer a wide range of other surgeries including but not limited to: exploratory, ear cropping, orthopedics (casting, pining, plating broken bones)

, hernia repairs, entropion/ ectropion, cherry eyes, bladder stone removal, plugged toms. We also offer a large range of large animal services including : castrations of horses, cryptorchid (one testicle) surgery on horses, dentals on horses, pregnancy tests by ultrasound or palpation, X-Rays, soundness exams, pre purchase exams, general medicine, vaccinations, same day coggins tests and health papers. These are only a few of our equine services. We have a hydraulic chute w/ tilt table for haul in cattle work, we also have a hydraulic chute for country calls for larger numbers of cattle. We offer general medicine, semen testing, PG testing, castrations, vaccinations, bangs vaccinations, health papers. Dr. Howard also works on elk, buffalo and is an aqua veterinarian so he can do bait shop and game fish inspections along with fish health certificates. Remove all twine strings from bales before placing into feeders. This horse was presented with episodes of collapsing during exertion, difficulty swallowing, weight loss, shortness of breath etc. Clinical findings: twine string embedded into neck 360 degrees and 2cm into the skin for approximately 2weeks. Complete recovery expected.

Hunting dogs in the field can get plant fibers in their eyes. This particular dog had a grass awn in the lower 3rd eyelid which then migrated into the cornea resulting in a surgical procedure. Moral of the story flush eyes out with saline after each hunt.
