A diverse range of horse owners, show or just pleasure .
Small show string group that primarily focuses on Appaloosa. We also hit local shows.
Lessons and training available to rider and horse.

ISO: RELIABLE, weekend barn help feeding, turnout(weather permitting) cleaning stalls (occasional few extra days during show season)
Must be able to lift 50lbs or more, pays attention to animals, horse knowledge would be a plus, but I can teach the right person, own transportation, self motivated. Here’s the catch… I don’t take sick days , or a day off if that , so I’m more or less looking for someone that has a great immune system or can power through a “man cold” I also am a very quiet person, so if you’re working with me in the barn don’t take it to heart if I say maybe 2 words🤷‍♀️ this is a salary based position, again only looking for weekend help. during show season my house is your house so you don’t have to drive (I’ll make sure you’re fully stocked on groceries also ) this is a very physical job, but you also have to be patient as you’re dealing with 1000lbs toddlers, that can’t talk… oh and occasionally Frank when I’m away… he’s pathetic, won’t travel like Gus because he either needs his couch and blanket or couch and AC 🤦‍♀️ if i haven’t scared you off yet then you can either PM or text/call (315) 408-0719 to discuss this position more in detail.

Okay I’m tossing the towel in for my own sanity and to keep my passion alive.. on that note I will be looking for the following.
Someone to do chores either Saturday or Sunday (or both🤷‍♀️) feeding am/pm, stalls. Horse experience preferred, but can teach the right individual. This isn’t a job for the weak. Must be able to lift 50lbs, own transportation, reliable with good communication, attention to detail (notice changes in a horse) this is a salary paid position as I know how long it takes one person to do (I do it everyday) it finally dawned on me I need a day to regroup and looking for someone responsible to at least work one day for that.
I’m on the fence about the next one, but I’m possibly looking for a handyman (or woman) to do work around the farm lawn mowing, w**d whacking, keeping fence lines trimmed down, fixing things that either I or a horse breaks. This is a position that helps me continue to focus on my training program and believe you me there is always something to do.
This position I’m still working out the numbers. At this moment neither position is full time, but I can promise I will make sure you don’t work as hard as I do in a day and I will make sure you eat too😂🤷‍♀️.

I will have stalls available September 1st. Currently offering a few different options. Full time training, board and one weekly lesson included.
Board and ride, for a horse that needs to stay in shape and the owner that can’t make it there all the time, that doesn’t need to be in a full time program Board plus weekly lessons package.
I also have horses available for lease for the person that wants a horse, but not all the financial responsibility.
Board is full care, indoor and outdoor arena, daily turnout (weather permitting). Each horse gets the individual attention they need plus more! Shoot me a message or call (315) 408-0719 with any questions and more details.

Things that I don’t do … tell my farrier how to do his job… I’ve used Ben since I was 17 🤷‍♀️ I’ve never even questioned a thing he’s done because he’s one of the few that keeps learning… traveling, competing, talking to fellow farriers, taking in their experiences…we all know in the horse industry even as a trainer/coach you’re nothing if you don’t keep learning and asking questions. I handed him my boy and said nothing, he’s back to riding. I remain humble in a industry that’s always changing, but am grateful for the few that always keep learning and never stop.

The search is on for Appaloosa only, WP mare or gelding $15k and under (please factor in shipping if needed) that doesn’t need to be in a program for non-pro and her daughter to show in walk/trot also. Older is fine, as is maintenance as long as it’s disclosed and can still show. No HUS as they already have that unicorn.
