Friendly Kittens We are one of the areas only Himalayan breeders in Northern Virginia just outside of Leesburg, VA My family and I have a passion for Himalayan cats and kittens.

I have been raising cats and kittens for over 30 years. I specialize in Himalayans cats. I take great pride in providing the best home and nurturing for my kittens and cats. I believe that by raising them in my home rather than in a cage or crate that my kittens are more people friendly, less shy and frightened when brought to a new home and more compatible with other pets in existing homes. I gua

rantee that my kittens are genetic defect free and I keep a close relationship with my local vet for all of my needs. My adult cats are all indoor cats and have never had any get sick before. The health of the kittens and adult cats are always a priority. Friendly Kittens is partnering with a reputable Persian breeder. We have some new Persian kittens that have joined the colony featured below. Himalayans have pointed colors (paws/face/tail) since they are a hybrid of Siamese and Persian. They are still considered Persians by the cat registry. The kittens below will produce a whole new variety of colors, solids, bicolor, etc. since they are straight Persians, eye color will be copper not blue like the Himalayan but very fetching nonetheless. Nice to see BlueRasberry (now named Daamini) and her big sister Rimjhim. These ladies came back for 10 days while mom had to travel. Friendly Kittens get vacation boarding free for life. If you have another kitty that lives with them we can host them as well for a small stipend. They both got a complimentary sanitary clip and had their nails done.

So 2023 will mark 31 years in business for FriendlyKittens. I heard from a client who bought their kitten in 2002 "Trooper Tyree" who has just recently gone to Kitty Heaven. He was a friend for life for this man, always waiting for him when he got home and purring right up to the end. At 20 Trooper was basically a 100 years old when he passed. I am posting his original message (with permission of course) I think it sends a positive message which is sorely needed in today's climate.

Cookie's mom said he needed a grooming so although he was not happy about the process he should be able to manage his coat a little better now. Sometimes, if the owner or the cat has gotten behind its just better to do a lion cut. Please don't ignore matts on your cat, to them it feels like someone twisting your hair in a circle and pulling....all the time. Please never, ever go near them with scissors either, you can slice right through their outer skin before you know it. If you are are not comfortable with the grooming, you can bring them here, we have a resident vet tech and groomer on site.

While the Masons have always wanted a Himalayan kitten, Victoria and her sister wanted to surprise their mother, who has been diagnosed with cancer.
