Not the results we had hoped for, but kidding season 2026 is complete.
Lilo had a buck and a doe, but has taken a week to get with the program, so they aren't out of the woods yet. Caramel was a Rockstar and also had a buck and a doe (she got a little help from Emma) and immediately went to work being the fabulous mother she is. Then Dolly kidded twin does but they were tiny and weak, and one passed after a day or so and her tiny sister isn't doing well. Dolly's milk took longer than normal to fully come in, and this was her first time, so she's still trying to figure things out.
And finally, Mya kidded two huge (by comparison) does tonight completely unassisted and they are doing great.

Mama Wrangler (the dog) likes to check on her babies every chance she gets, as well.

No class winners this year, but Emma did win Senior Showmanship and placed 2nd in her class with this little doe.
Goose is off to a slow start, but has finally marked the first 2 of 8 does, so hopefully February kidding will be good to us.

The 2025 kidding season is finally underway. Carmel surprised Greg this morning and he had to help her get the last one out.
