Unfortunately after two years and a lot of work and money we have been unable to turn the corner or secure the capital to continue being Oakland Counties only year round grower of specialty vegetables. We are closing this month without a miracle. Thanks to everyone for their support particularly our employees, customers and those investors who worked so hard.

Oakland Urban Growers (www.OaklandUrbangrowers.com) Oakland counties year-round in-door farm is becoming a key source of Seed-to-Plate produce for Southeastern Michigan restaurant, country clubs, and other top eateries. We also have started hosting green events for a broad range of activities from yoga, business meetings, educational, religious events and more.

We have invested heavily in our communities’ sustainable farming, and are now opening up the opportunity for a limited amount of other folks to invest with us. We practice organic farming techniques growing heirloom tomatoes, Microgreens, basil, herbs, and other fine produce in our 28,0000 square foot heated greenhouses. We employ the best growing techniques utilizing Hydroponic, Ebb & Flow and traditional soil growing.

We have "hired" 75 -100 worker Bumble Bees! To help us pollinate our 1,200 + flowering Heirloom Tomato plants!
In a Northern winter/early spring Greenhouse.

Holy Heirlooms - Michigan Tomatoes are awesome! But they end in October. Oakland Urban Growers just planted 3000 more plants that you can eat all Winter. Please visit some of the fine restaurants and retailers that sell our products now.
