Showing you the differences between my Siam Longhair (Emmie) and Old-Style Balinese (Blue Eyes). Trooper wanted to join in. The Siam Longhair has the Balinese coat, a Thai style head and body and more color possibilities than Balinese. The only cats allowed in the breeding are Balinese, Siamese and any cat from Thailand. They have a combination of Old-Style, modern and classic Siamese/Balinese. Blue Eyes is entirely Old-Style and throughout her entire pedigree only the four standard colors are present. She only has seal, lilac, chocolate and blue points in her lineage. When I look for an Old-Style Balinese to add to my Cattery, I don't want to see anything but the four standard colors throughout. If they have not come from my cattery and they are lynx, red/cream, tortie, cinnamon, fawn etc., those cats are color points that did not inherit those colors from a pure Siamese or Balinese. Somewhere in the gene pool, other breeds were added that were not purebred Siamese or Balinese or Oriental.
September Morn is the daughter of Twyla and Skyler. She has silent heat cycles, but I was able to observe it once after paying very close attention. She was bred to Bailey. September Morn is a chocolate tortie point Balinese with a very soft and beautiful coat! Together with Bailey, they can produce chocolate point and lilac point males and females. Their males can be red/cream points as well. Their females can be chocolate or lilac tortie points. These are the ONLY color points possible with this mating. They are due at the end of this month. These kittens will have a combination of Old-Style Balinese, original imported Thai line from Tina and modern wedge for great genetic diversity. To my knowledge, she is the only tortie point Balinese that inherited her tortie gene from an original Siamese import from Thailand. All other tortie point Balinese inherited their tortie gene somewhere from a cat way back that was NOT even related to Siamese, Balinese or Oriental.

Natural mink Tibetan Livia
Amala with her beautiful litter of rare Tibetans today. Need an ancient female name for one girl. See our website for more information. www.balinesebreed.com
Big News!!! It's been a while since we had Tibetan kittens available. Amala had a beautiful litter of five yesterday. She was bred to JJ in hopes of getting a natural mink lynx point. And we have one! This is the first and only time the Tibetan breed has ever had this color. It's incredibly rare in the cat world. The only breed that sees this color combination is the Ragdoll breed, but it's still very rare and most registeries consider it nonstandard. He is going to be super exotic looking!
Meysa's six kittens today.
Blue Dragon (son of Meysa and Bailey) is an absolute purring cuddle boy. He has his mother's great temperament and color. His coat comes from the Old-Style genes from his father. He turned out to be everything I was hoping for in this mating. Whoever ends up with this precious one will be incredibly blessed! I would love for him to stay with Lester in the same home as they were raised together. Blue Dragon would be great to show in CFA, TICA, ACFA or CFF shows!
