POV: A client tells me they have a Yorkie…

I pull up and meet a dog twice the size of a Yorkie. 😂

This is exactly why I’m becoming much more specific during the booking process.

When you book with a groomer, these details matter:

🐾 What breed is your dog?
🐾 How much does your dog weigh?
🐾 When was your dog’s last professional groom?
🐾 How often is your dog groomed?
🐾 Is your dog comfortable with grooming?

These questions aren’t asked to judge anyone. They’re asked so your groomer can:

✅ Give an accurate quote
✅ Schedule enough time
✅ Bring the right equipment
✅ Keep everyone safe
✅ Provide the best experience possible

A 10-pound Yorkie and a 30-pound Lhasa Apso mix are very different appointments.

The more accurate the information, the smoother the groom, the happier the dog, and the better the results.
