Wow!! The amazing students from the Biddeford High School Interact Club knocked it out of the park! They recently held a coin drive with all grades 8-12 participating & selected No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry as the beneficiary of their fundraising efforts. You have all heard me say it before but I am not above repeating myself... donations from youth are EXTRA SPECIAL. Thank you!

The BHS Interact Club held a Coin War during “Make it Count March” and challenged the students of each class to bring coins to support the No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry. With the support of the BHS Student Body, the Interact Club raised $500 for the pet food pantry. The pet pantry helps to feed a variety of pets and, most importantly, helps owners keep their pets that they otherwise may not be able to feed. This program is important for the pets' and owners' mental and physical health.

I have repeatedly run into the same situation over the past 3 months, so I thought now would be a good time to review our policies. If you miss coming to the pantry one month, the next time you come you do NOT get double the amount and you do not get to come twice in a month to "make-up" for the month you missed. For example, if you did not come in March, for whatever reason, when you do come in April you cannot ask for your March and April Distribution. You also cannot come to the pantry twice during April to "make-up" for not coming in March. This is non-negotiable and there are no exceptions.

Sending huge Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with Distribution today. It was not busy but with the . Medical issues I am currently dealing with, I could never have done it without them. Thankful for such a great team.

Just a reminder:
If you are receiving assistance with pet food from another pet food pantry, human food pantry, or organization you are not eligible for assistance at No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry. Do not fool yourself into believing I will not find out, I will find out & you will be denied assistance. Play by the rules.

This evening we had a VERY generous anonymous donor delivery 139 cases of wet dog food to us! Each Case contains 8 tubs of wet food for a whooping 1,112 tubs of Purina Pro Plan wet dog food!! I am beyond grateful!

Sending a big Thank you to PetSmart Scarborough for all the phenomenal donations they sent to us. After spending lots of time setting it all up for a photo , my camera malfunctioned & failed to save the photo.

This afternoon I had the privilege of meeting Lisa & the honor of accepting donations in memory of her beloved dog, Stu. Parting with your pet's belongings is often very difficult & very emotional but I hope knowing that their items will continue to bring love & joy to other pets provides a little comfort. Sending BIG Thanks to Rotary Club of S**o Bay Sunset for having Raine & I speak this evening. I am never at a shortage for words when it comes to my favorite topic, No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry, Raine is more selective & saves her words for pets & treats! I greatly appreciate their warm welcome & hospitality. Extra Thanks to our volunteer, Dave, for giving up his Tuesday evening to attend the meeting with us to keep Raine supplied with cookies while I chatted.
