We have 10 hens, 7 of them are pullets starting to lay! We have 1 Rooster too, "Brooster lll"! This winter they have been 20% Layer from Ak Mill & Feed, kitchen (goodies) scraps, mixed grains, spent grains, hay and calcium.

Salmonlily Farm Foster Update: Yesterday, we got these 4 pups from Dillingham. They're adjusting well to their new foster home & being w/o their mamma. We just love these boys to pieces. Cute cute cute!

They met 2 cats yesterday & GIANT pig & a goat today.

Happy Hen with her chicks. We call her "Mother Clucker"! You won't want to mess with mamma, get too close or she'll peck ya till ya bleed!
All our animals are free range. Our hens are never caged! They have the run of the place and keep the compost turned.
