What is included in our complimentary clean-up service?

Muddy Paws and Happy pups go hand in hand 🤎🐶 Our dogs spend their days running, playing, exploring, and sometimes finding every muddy spot possible! Because of that, it's completely normal for pups to get a little dirty during their stay!
Before pick-up, we do our best to help tidy them up so they aren't going home covered in the fun from their day.

This may include:
✨️ Pet-safe Wipes
✨️ Dry Shampoo
✨️ Brushing
✨️ Deodorizing Spray
✨️ High Velocity Dryer

This is a basic clean-up, not a full bath or grooming service. Our goal is just to make sure they go home better than they looked mid-playtime!

It's February 2nd and we haven't posted in awhile! Its been a wonderful and chaotic winter and we've just been so focused on our dogs here that social media really took a back burner. We missed January Dog of the Month (and all January posts...) BUT we will get a February Dog of the Month up soon! In the meantime, enjoy our January Snow Dog Recap!

Important update to Paws & Pastures Families,

As many of you know, we’ve had severe high winds all weekend, starting Friday night and projected to last through Monday at 1 PM. Unfortunately, one of our horse stalls blew over and damaged a section of our fence.

Due to the damage, we will unfortunately need to close for repairs. Daycare will be closed from Monday 12/8 through Friday 12/12. We’ll be working as quickly as possible, and there is a chance we may be able to reopen earlier if repairs are completed ahead of schedule.

For clients scheduled Wednesday 12/10 through Friday 12/12, we will not fully cancel your reservations yet so your spot remains secure in case we’re able to reopen sooner. Please still plan for a closure, and we’ll provide updates as soon as we know more.

If anyone needs or chooses to cancel, all deposits will be refunded, and package credits will receive their credits back. All package holders will receive a one-week extension on their package expiration dates.

Boarding clients: We are still able to accept boarding as scheduled. Our two smaller fields remain fully secure for rotations, and our indoor area will continue providing mental enrichment. The only affected service is daycare due to the temporary loss of our large field fencing.

We know this is inconvenient, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Safety is always our top priority, and operating with a compromised fence does not meet our standards or ensure the well-being of the pups in our care.

As Alaskans, we know how special this holiday is - a time to celebrate freedom, community, and the great outdoors. At Paws & Pastures, we want to take a moment to thank our wonderful clients for trusting us with your furry family members.

While fireworks, gunshots, and celebrations fill the air, remember that these noises can be stressful for our dogs. To help keep your pups safe and calm during the festivities, consider creating a quiet, secure space, using calming techniques, and keeping them indoors whenever possible.
