It’s a hot one today! What’s everyone doing to stay cool out there? 🥵

Remember, surfaces can quickly heat up as temperatures rise and so does the risk of paw burns. At just 85 degrees, pavement temps can reach upwards of 130 degrees!! 🔥🐾

Protect your pet’s toes by:
1. testing the pavement with your hand-if it’s too hot for you to hold it there for SEVEN SECONDS comfortably it’s too hot for them!
2. Opt for walks during cooler hours (early morning or late evenings) and stick to grassy areas when possible.

Let’s keep those paws cool and happy 🐾💚
