❤️ I'll Always Be That Horse Girl

I may not be the little girl I once was,
But my love for horses hasn't changed a bit!!

I'll always be the girl who'd rather smell like horses than perfume,
Who finds more peace in a barn than a house on a hill.

The girl who spent her childhood dreaming of horses she'd someday call her own. Who never cared much for fancy things, just a saddle, some dirt, and a place to roam.

Now there's bills to pay and a house to clean, kids to raise and a million things to do.
And some days I barely recognize
the girl I once knew.

But give me a quiet evening,
a horse, and a little time to ride....
and suddenly she's right there again...
that wild little girl that dreamed of these days.

The one who never worried about getting dirty, who believed a good horse could fix a bad day.
Who believed the world looked better
from a saddle, riding her troubles away. And maybe that's what people don't understand...

It's never been just about horses.
it's about the part of me they kept alive.

Because no matter how much life changes, or how many years go flying by... there will ALWAYS be a little girl in me, who sees a horse and feels her whole heart smile! ❤️
