It’s 8pm.. I’m sitting outside with the boarding dogs tonight, enjoying the cooler weather, and I just caught myself reflecting on how lucky I am. 🤎
Sometimes in the middle of all the cleaning, feeding, playing, barking, grooming, schedules, and everything else that comes with running a boarding business, it’s easy to forget to stop and take it all in.
But then I look around and realize… this is pretty special.
So many dogs have come through our doors lately, each with their own little personalities, quirks, routines, and stories. Some are here for a night, some for a week, and some have even been here for months. 🐾
And every single one gets a little piece of our heart while they’re here.
I love that we get to be the place where they feel safe while their people are away. I love watching the shy ones come out of their shells, the energetic ones run around like they own the place, and the ones who just want to sit beside you and soak up some attention.
Tonight, I’m just feeling really grateful.
Grateful for every family who trusts us with their babies.
Grateful for every dog who has made us laugh.
Grateful for the muddy paws, the wagging tails, the chaos, and even the barking. 😂
And grateful that something that started as a dream has turned into a place filled life and with so many happy faces. For that I’m Thankful.
