🐾💉 WHY VACCINES MATTER 💉🐾
At Backroads Boarding, your pet’s health and safety always come first! ❤️ We require vaccines for grooming, boarding, and daycare to help protect not only your furry family member, but every pet — and even people — they come in contact with. 🐶🐾
Why are they important? 👇
✂️ Grooming: Even short appointments involve shared spaces, equipment, staff handling, and interaction with other pets throughout the day.
🏠 Boarding & Daycare: Dogs spend extended time together, share play areas, water bowls, and socialize closely — increasing exposure to contagious illnesses.
Required vaccines:
✔️ Rabies (Non-negotiable)
✔️ DHPP (Distemper-Parvo)
✔️ Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Strongly Recommended:
💉 Canine Influenza (Dog Flu)
🦠 Why Rabies is Non-Negotiable:
Rabies is required by law and protects not only your pet, but humans too. Rabies is a fatal disease that affects mammals — including people. Because of the seriousness and risk involved, current rabies vaccination is required for every pet entering our facility. No exceptions.
