We're thrilled to welcome back Face Art by Brandi to our 2026 Central Park Car Show on August 23rd! 💕

Brandi has been a beloved part of our car show for many years, bringing smiles and happiness to our youngest guests with her incredible face-painting designs. From colorful creations to fun characters, she has a way of turning every face into a work of art! 🌈✨

We're so excited to have her back again this year. She's the perfect colorful addition to a day filled with cars, community, and family fun!

Bring the kids, pick their favorite design, and let Brandi add a little extra magic to their day! 🎨🥰

Hi, I’m Georgia! 🐾💕

I’m new here, and while everything feels a little different right now, I’m hopeful that my forever family is out there waiting for me. I’m a 3½-year-old Lab/Australian Shepherd mix, and I came to the shelter when life changed for my previous owner.

I’ve lived with both dogs and cats, so I’m used to having furry friends around. 🐶🐱

PAWS & More is doing a fun adoption special this month, so my adoption fee is only $75. I’m in good hands now and getting settled in, but would really love to find a family who will give me the time, love, and patience I need to feel at home again. Could you be my happily-ever-after? ❤️

Washington, IA: These 3 females were found just south of town yesterday, near 2653 Wayland Rd. None of them are microchipped, so please reach out if you know where they belong. Shelter names: Tater, Tot, and Hashbrown.

Kelani is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and already microchipped! Her adoption fee is just $50 with our event for the month of August!

Introducing Dexter! 🐾💙

Dexter is a handsome 5-year-old Lab mix looking for a new family to call his own. He came to us as an owner surrender and can be a little shy at first, but give him some time and patience, and he’ll be ready to show you his sweet side. 🥰

Dexter has been around both dogs and cats, is potty trained, and does okay on a leash. He’s ready for a fresh start with a family who will help him come out of his shell and feel safe and loved.

Riverside, IA: This guy was found yesterday near 2673 Hwy 22 between Riverside and Kalona. Shelter name: Gringer. Unfortunately he came in with two large infected wounds and didn't survive. We're sharing his picture in case someone is missing him. 😔 We're grateful to the person who found him and to our staff for taking care of him.
