"Apollo gets spoiled every day by me and my 6 roommates. We also went to daycare for the first time last week!! He loved it so much and they said he did great."

UPDATE: This sweet girl passed away overnight. Thanks for rallying behind her and letting her leave with love! 💓😔

Washington, IA: This very emaciated kitty, who we think is female, was found on N Marion. We shaved a large mat off of her and gave her subcutaneous fluids and meds. We're hoping she starts to feel better soon. Please reach out if you're missing her or know where she belongs. Shelter name: Rain Cloud.

Meet Buck! This handsome 3-year-old male shepherd/husky mix is looking for a fresh start after being surrendered when his owner lost their home. Despite the big changes in his life, Buck’s sweet nature is beginning to shine through.

When Buck first arrived, he was very scared and shut down, taking time to adjust to his new surroundings. Recently, he’s started coming out of his shell and showing his true personality — a gentle, free-spirited boy who just wants love and stability.

According to his previous owner, Buck does well with cats, dogs, and kids, making him a wonderful candidate for many types of homes. He has a calm, kind demeanor and is learning that people can still be trusted. 🥰

It's a lazy Monday according to Portia. 😉 But normally this 7-month-old is the Leader of the Band and does everything in a big way. She's an adventurous cat, but will still make plenty of time to show you her affectionate side. She'll be a fun addition to your home! 🤩
