Here at Ded Duk Retrievers, we specialize in training waterfowl retrievers. We have access to over 2,000 acres and 40+ ponds to utilize for training grounds. This gives us the options to introduce your dog to numerous different scenarios and hunting environments. Our Basic Training program includes formal obedience (sit/stay, here, heel, kennel) socialization, remote sits, whistle sits, place training, force fetch, collar conditioning, drive building, steadying, gun breaking, single marked retrieves (land & water). At the end of this program, your dog will have the ability to pass an AKC Junior Hunt Test or UKC Started Hunt Test. Our Advanced Training program consists of the Basic Training program plus casting, blind retrieves to a minimum of 100yds, double marked retrieves (land & water), honoring, diversions, de-cheating, double T drill, wagon wheel casting. This is an additional 5-6 month program. At the end of this program your dog will have the ability to pass an AKC Senior Hunt test or UKC Seasoned Hunt Test.
