This is extra special because this trial adopter is also the one that made the 4 hour round trip to pick him up and get him to Wilson’s so he could be saved.

Let’s hope their resident kitty, Pebbles accepts Harvey and it’s a happily ever after.

Some more great news!

Remember Kiki? The senior cat that was attacked by an animal and had terrible wounds on her body, goopy puss-drippy eyes, super thin, and a severe URI?

Well, she is all healed now. Her wounds and her eyes both.

The icing on the cake: she will be an official foster fail this weekend. I was hoping for this from day one. ❤️

Look how far this beautiful senior lady has come.

She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, but she’s on meds and has been for a couple months now and is at the vet often to monitor her weight and levels. She does get weepy eyes from time to time, and the vet thinks that may be a constant thing, but all in all, she’s a very lucky senior lady living out her best years to come with her forever family.

Macy and Marshall, Hudson’s kittens were at the vet today.

They started dropping grams and it appears their sweet mama is drying up, so syringe feeds until they get the hang of eating on their own and being big kids.

They’re really big for their age. They’re not quite 5 weeks old.

They were at hit at the vet.

Theo, this beautiful boy that was found during a kitten rescue mission back in June, the kittens that I had to syringe feed with horrible URI’s and really bad eyes, was adopted tonight.

Theo was wandering the neighborhood, in the street, and riddled with fleas and scabs.

He seemed so friendly. I picked him up and was almost able to get him in the carrier, but the top fell and scared him and he ran off. We got him about an hour later.

I said to Kate, maybe we should take him to the Catfe. He looks like one to find a home quickly. He’s beautiful, friendly, and I hate to return him to the streets where he’s full of fleas, getting picked on, and all the neighbors we talked to said he didn’t have a home, but they would feed him when they could.

Kate fostered him and we tried to find a home from there, unsuccessfully, so last month he came to the cat cafe.

He fit right in, wagging his tail like a dog, greeting you at the door, getting along with all the cats. He reminded me so much of my Lou. They look alike and are cuddly just the same. Theo loves to get on your chest and nap.

Last night, I knew Theo was leaving today, but I laid down and took some pics as he comforted me, laying on my chest the same way my Louie did. He was such a comfort last night.

His adopter sure is lucky. They both are, really. What a great kitty.
