Manager and owner Martin Maldonado is a professional polo player and an accomplished polo instructor. In 2008, he started a women's arena polo league that currently has an active and growing contingent of women polo players of all ages. Polo at the Blue Rock also specializes in training polo ponies and breaking and training young horses for all disciplines.

Thoroughbreds, Quarter horses, Arabs, Appaloosas, Saddlebreds, a Friesian, an Andalusian, and now "Mario" the Tarpan.
