It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of King George, Eliza, Prince Henry, Princess Augustine, Taylor, Britney, Sia, Arianna, and Beyoncé. We lost everyone in a coyote attack last night. The coyotes went though HARDWIRE cloth (!) to get in and were still in the coop this morning when we went outside to feed everyone.

We sadly announce that there are no turkey eggs left in the coop. So we’ll take this as a teachable moment: turkeys and chickens will eat eggs if they are accidentally broken and not viable. We believe that this is what happened here but look forward to letting the birds go broody in the future!
