Both dogs are being friendly. No tension, no drama… and I’d still keep it moving.

Leash greetings aren’t about whether dogs can handle it, it’s about what they start to expect.

When your dog learns that every walk = meeting other dogs, you start getting:
• pulling
• fixation
• frustration when they can’t say hi

That’s where reactivity starts building.

Real socialization isn’t constant interaction… it’s neutrality.

Your dog should be able to see another dog and keep it pushing.

You don’t need a dog in this video to understand the problem.

Most people try to train their dog when everything is calm, quiet, and controlled.

But real life looks like this.

Busy. Overstimulating. Hands full. Brain full.

And if you can’t show up with clarity and direction here…
your dog won’t follow you out there.

That’s the part nobody teaches.

Not just commands, but how to lead your dog in real life.

If your dog listens at home but not outside… this is why.

Hot take… your dog isn’t the problem.

You’re exhausting them instead of leading them.

More walks, More running, More ‘burning energy’…
and your dog is still pulling, reactive, and all over the place.

That’s a missing piece.

Dogs don’t need more chaos… they need clarity.

Most people skip that part.

This is what structure actually looks like, and yeah… it changes everything.

If your walks feel like a struggle and you’re over it…

Comment DOG and I’ll send you exactly how to fix it 🐾

No overthinking. No “wait until I’m more prepared.” Just grabbed Ari, trusted my gut, and went for it.

And honestly? This is your reminder that we don’t need perfect conditions to do hard things. We just need a little courage… and maybe snacks in every pocket.

Between raising dogs, raising a human, and trying to keep my brain from running 47 tabs at once, this felt like a win I’m actually proud of.

We did that. 🖤

Tundra has an ear infection…
and this still doesn’t have to be a fight.

A lot of dogs don’t hate ear drops,
they hate the pressure, restraint, and rush that usually comes with it.

So when every ear touch turns into “hold them still and get it done”…
they learn to brace, avoid, or fight.

Instead, I focus on:

• Slowing the process all the way down
• Letting her stay involved instead of forcing it
• Pairing ear handling with something she enjoys
• Building comfort BEFORE the drops even come out
• Keeping it predictable so she knows what’s coming

Tundra isn’t just “tolerating” this…
she understands it, and she feels safe in it.

Even when your dog needs care,
you don’t have to choose between getting it done and protecting trust.

You can do both 💡

For all you “poop connoisseurs” out there… your dog’s favorite snack just dropped 🤢😂

Don’t act surprised… we’ve all seen what they be sneaking 😭🐶

Happy April Fools 😏💩

Unpopular opinion but it needs to be said.
If your dog is dragging you, reacting to everything, and completely checked out… that walk isn’t helping, it’s rehearsing chaos.

More miles won’t fix a lack of connection.
Slow it down. Add structure. Make your dog walk with you, not just near you.

A shorter, focused walk where your dog is actually tuned in will do more than an hour of pulling and ignoring you.

Quality over quantity, every time.

15 minutes. Bags checked, through TSA, and on my way ✈️
Meanwhile the news had it sounding like a full survival mission 😅

Don’t get me wrong, always give yourself time and stay prepared… but this weekend flight through ATL was smooth, quick, and stress free. Sometimes it really is that easy.

I’m not about to be in the airport sweating, holding up the line, dropping stuff, and stressing everybody out 😭

Now add in this government shutdown situation and TSA lines taking HOURS?? yeah… absolutely not.

If you’ve ever flown out of Atlanta, you already know it’s not the place to be figuring things out on the spot.

So yes, I’m practicing like it’s game day. Bags ready. System ready. Me? calm.

Laugh if you want… but I’m walking through TSA like I do this for a living ✈️
