Only three days remaining to buy a pie to support Food and Friends in their efforts to help chronically ill people in the area receive nutritious meals six days a week in a 5,000 square mile area.

Over 60% of these meals are delivered by volunteers!

Over a million pies were delivered this year and the goal is 1.3 million for 2022.

Great pie flavors to choose from baked by Whisked, plus part of it is tax-deductible! Yum!

Not going to be here for Thanksgiving? Buy a pie to be placed in a client's food basket.

There is a Pet Food Pantry that is administered by the Humane Rescue Alliance. The phones have been ringing off the hooks for requests from people needing supplies so they don't have to re-home their beloved pets.

You can keep them together.

You can donate unexpired dry food bags of any size, unexpired canned food, treats, and toys. Sorry, no open packages.

I will be collecting donations at the Triangle Park from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 to transport over to the Alliance.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
I am also looking for people to help with this effort. Contact me if you are available. We will be setting up at 8:45 and then will transport everything over to the Alliance at 1 pm. You would be done by 2.

P.S. Catoo was a local feral kitty who recently passed. She had a huge personality and I know she would totally love our efforts!
