Say hello to Brett! Brett is available for adoption through Lucky Dog Animal Rescue.
Shepard Mix, Male, 7 Months Old, 32 Pounds.
What My Foster Says About Me: "Brett is doing great. He loves daycare & playing with the pups & staff. Since he's still a puppy, he is learning lots of good manners from the other dogs he plays with. He is easily corrected if he gets too excited. He does good with puppies and older dogs. He eats 3x a day. He doesn't mess up his condo at night. He is just a playful goofy baby :)"

"You only get one chance to do it right – and if you make this mistake, you can set the stage for a rocky relationship between your current dog and your new one. Dogs are social animals and their social units have hierarchy, so to minimize disruption and unrest, be sure to follow these steps.
Adding a dog to your family is an exciting time, but one that must be given careful consideration. As the old saying goes, you only get one chance to make a first impression, and you want to be sure that the introduction goes well. While you may be tempted to throw open your front door and surprise your current dog with a new furry pal, this could make your current dog feel threatened — setting the stage for a rocky relationship.
While dogs are social animals and often enjoy sharing a home with other dogs, remember that their social units have hierarchy. The introduction of a new dog will disrupt the hierarchy that’s present and a new pecking order will be established."

Tired of using towels and blankets to protect your cat’s favorite chair from shedding fur and hairballs?
Your cat probably has a favorite spot on the furniture, and any attempts to protect that fabulous upholstery from cat hair, claws, and hairballs usually results in a decorating style that can best be described as “disheveled chic.” Those folded blankets and fleece cat beds just don’t do your style justice!
Even worse? Half the time your cat won’t even sit on them.
Reclaim your home and make your cat blissfully happy at the same time. Meet the Catnip Mat - a chic, refillable, addictive spot cats can’t wait to claim as their own (just like everything else in your house).
Let’s be clear: This isn’t your grandma’s cat bed. Thanks to its designer canvas construction with a unique velcro opening, it complements your decor while keeping your cat blissfully snoozing in the same, washable spot.
Hairball? No problem. Toss the whole bed in the wash, refill with some of our fresh catnip leaf and your cat can get back to the important work of napping in less than 60 minutes.
Heading to the (dreaded) vet, or hitting the road for adventure? Tuck the Catnip Mat into the carrier to bring the comforting feel of home on the road.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at The Big Bad Woof!🦃

It's Adopt A Senior Pet Month so we'd like you to meet Jinx!
According to the Humane Rescue Alliance, "Jinx is a sweetheart and a perfect gentleman. Don't let the gray face fool you into thinking that he is a senior - Jinx is in great shape, his body is solid muscle and he doesn't act old! Fully housebroken and with excellent leash walking manners, this mellow, calm pup is curious and respectful, takes treats gently and gives small licks to show affection. Jinx loves walk-time and is excited and playful while heading out the door, giving his paws to shake hands, mini-nibbling and gently jumping up to give kisses. Jinx is a fantastic ‘home office dog' and a great snoozing co-worker.
His hobbies are looking out the window, barking at dogs walking by, and getting morning snuggles. He's shy when first meeting someone new and warms up after a moment - and is on perfect behavior with guests and contractors.
Jinx comes when called and just learned to "sit." He is very trainable and would be a good match with an adopter who can teach him other basic commands such as "down" and "stay." Jinx prefers to step away from louder, smaller kids and would do best in a quieter home without small kids. He gets along well with other dogs and wags his little stub off at them. The person who brought him in said he was a stray, but given how attached Jinx was to him, it was likely his owner.
Jinx can be left in the house uncrated and is not destructive. Please meet Jinx - he is a great little bud to have around!"
If you would like to meet Jinx, email Anat at [email protected].
