Our 170 sq. ft. mobile unit uses clean energy and can produce up to 400 pounds of mushrooms weekly! Using a satellite system we will strategically place these grow units throughout Wards 7 and 8, employing residents to manage and maintain the crops and other farming operations.

💡👨‍🎓 We had the pleasure of having students from UDC'S Sustainable Agriculture class come by yesterday! Our Founder/CEO gave the young scholars a tour of the farm and shared with them his story, how we cultivate our mushrooms, and his vision for urban agriculture in Wards 7 and 8!

👋🏾 Welcome to our incubation space! After we inoculate our substrate blocks with grain spawn, they are put on these shelves to colonize. Our Blue Oyster and Lion's Mane blocks will typically be ready to go into the grow room anywhere between 10 to 14 days. Our Shiitake blocks take longer and go through several stages before they are ready for the grow room, taking 2 to 4 months to colonize the substrate fully. Our first blocks of 2025 are currently in the popcorning phase and should be ready in a few more weeks!
