From Head To Tail Professional, compassionate grooming in a playful setting. My name is Alisha!

I have worked in the animal industry all my life, starting with assisting to raise and groom show dogs, to working in the scientific animal husbandry field, in veterinary reception, and managing and running grooming, boarding and daycare facilities. Given the extent of my experience and knowledge I felt it was time to take on my own venture and tailor my strengths to helping people and their dogs

achieve their health and wellness goals through grooming in a playful and relaxed setting. The vision I have for my salon is to offer the unique experience to dogs that grooming is not something to be feared, and concurrently, to every pet parent that their pet is coming here to be cared for with compassion and understanding. Every dog that comes through my doors is given the opportunity to take several hours to adjust to our grooming environment without the unnecessary use of cages and through the use of guided play, we help them to relax, and earn their trust and respect. If we feel there is a need, we have separate spaces where we can offer dogs time to decompress and relax away from the commotion. We want to see our clients healthy “From Head to Tail” both mentally and physically!

Seasonal allergies "Do***ng" your furry friends? Make an appointment today for a medicated bath at From Head To Tail Grooming! We have medicated shampoos to help with itching and hot spots associated with bug bites and environmental allergies. Did you know that it can take several weeks for the immune system to calm down after an allergen excites it? Weekly bathing is recommended for serious allergies, and paired with over the counter pharmaceuticals, it can help if veterinary prescribed treatments are too costly. You can also consider changing your pet's diet as well. Some food additives, as well as certain proteins can be irritating and cause allergy breakouts. If you are concerned about unexplained itching, be sure to check with your vet!

From Head to Tail is looking to hire the right individual to join our team. The qualifications we seek include flexibility, a love for dogs, general dog knowledge, and a willingness to get your hands dirty (and face licked). Applicants should be comfortable answering phones and greeting clients, have a strong stomach for less pleasant odors, and possess a sense of fun and humor.

As our clientele is expanding, we need general assistance in the salon. Compensation will be hourly (W-2), plus tips and the occasional pizza party. If you're interested, please email me at [email protected] with your resume and any inquiries.
