We run a small yet growing CSA & sell produce to local restaurants. Stay tuned! We are currently taking signups for our quickly approaching 2021 CSA season. Please note that space is very limited and fills up quickly each year. That said, if you’re interested please act fast in contacting us. This season, we are having a go at some truly unique and dare I say, fun, veggies and herbs on the horizon
. For example, some of the things we are excited about growing this year include our amazing kale varieties (over 10 different types of kale!), wasabi radishes, carrots colored across the rainbow, strawberry spinach, spaghetti squash, wasabi arugula (and a huge assortment of other varied greens), heirloom tomatoes in varied colors and sizes, upwards of 10 varieties of basil, red okra, purple tomatillos, and so much more! Furthermore, this year we are trying out hand at beekeeping. Historically, our property has been the home to several hives but it’s been many years since that was the case. We’re hoping to now bring our property back to its former glory in an effort to improve our farm while also assisting in the effort to save the honey bees! And hopefully by next season, we will have honey to supply our CSA members too. This year we are expanding our distribution as well in an attempt to bring Foxtail Farm to a wider audience, yet still be as convenient as possible at the same time. So in addition to being able to pick up your share on location at our farm this season, we are introducing a second pickup site in Barrington, RI at Grapes & Grains. Pickup days are TBD at the moment but please stay tuned for updates as the start of the season approaches. If you are interested in joining out CSA for 2021 or are merely seeking additional information, please contact us directly via email [email protected]

(We kindly ask that, unless you are picking up your CSA share on our designated days, for you to please reach out to us first before “dropping by” our farm. At present, we do not have a store front or farm stand for accommodating guests and interested parties, nor do we want anyone wandering around our property unbeknownst to us. We are happy to show people around or answer any questions regarding our produce or operation, when time allows for it in our schedules. As such, its in your best interest to make an appointment before coming to our physical location (email is the best means of contact). Not only is this our farm, but also our home - and we ask that you please respect that. Thank you.)

Please Note: by joining the Foxtail Farm CSA you agree to and understand the assumed risk inherent to our production and ultimately, yield. Because our operation is at the whims of the environment, unforeseeable forces such as inclement/extreme weather, drought, flood, fire, pest pressure, & other “acts of god” may impact how much we are able to grow, what is successful, and/or the frequency at which we are able to provide veggies. While we fully plan on providing veggies each week our share runs, its important to be aware that such factors - because while out of our control, such things may negatively affect our farm in the end. (If we find ourselves at the mercy of such forces in the coming season, we will reach out to our active members to make them aware of the current situation and outlook). On the flip side though, if we have a stellar year, our members reap the rewards with a surplus of veggies and herbs at no additional cost. So by purchasing a “share” in our CSA you understand the assumed risk involved with uncontrollable forces.
