The AVMA has recently published an article in regards to the impact of bird flu in the cat population. Please refer to the link below about the relation between bird flu and raw milk/food diets in cats. If you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to reach out to your primary veterinarian.

A new source of exposure highly pathogenic avian influenza is affecting cats: raw diets containing poultry such as duck, turkey, or chicken that were contaminated with the virus. Cats appear to be particularly susceptible to severe illness from H5N1, often resulting in death.

Mal is a Moco Rescue! Malificent came to Moco mutts rescue with 2 shattered front legs after being thrown from a vehicle. The extent of her injuries were clear. Her front elbows were broken.
Her road to recovery was long and grueling. Due to the way her elbows were broken she was unable to undergo surgery. This meant round the clock care and rehabilitation to give her a fighting chance at a pain-free life. Eventually, our tech Uli and her foster mom, fell in love with her! She is now living a spoiled life with her! We will be selling stockings today and tomorrow until 1 in support of moco mutts! Can’t come then? No need to fear, we will be selling them after Christmas as well!

It ended up getting infected so he had to have an extended stay with us to nurse him back to health! Our Dr. Smith ended up falling in love with him and now he lives with her. Popeye now has two kids to love him and a dog to annoy! We are selling stockings the entire month of December where ALL the proceeds go to MocoMutts! Stockings have goodies for your furry family members and make great gifts!

Blanche and Dorothy are MocoMutts Rescues! The girls were dropped off with their mom and 8 other siblings at the Moco mutts. They had severe upper respiratory infections and weighed less than a pound, which was a quarter of what their litter mates weighed. They had to be bottle fed and on several rounds of antibiotics. They became a member of the family quickly and found their forever home among our tech, Shannon’s mayhem household 💜 please support MoCo Mutts Rescue Center by stopping by today to get stockings for your pets! MocoMutts resale store will also have a few stockings to sell!
