We are looking to add to our team!

Seeking an experienced Hunter/Jumper instructor to help with both daytime and evening lessons. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a more full-time role for the right candidate.

Applicant must be confident teaching riders of varying levels and able to step in when the main trainer is off or away at horse shows, including weekends. Additional opportunities for the right person may involve riding and showing.

We had a great time for our first outdoor Swan Lake experience at St. Christopher week! The venue and hospitality was great!

🤍Christine Clark’s “Wyatt’s Joy” and Mary Ficklin Reserve Champion 3’ Thoroughbred Hunters
🤍Charlotte Coppola and her “Cikito” 9th in the 2’6 USHJA Derby and great ribbons in the Low Children’s including two 2nd’s over fences Sunday
🤍Alyssa Whitfield and “Locarno 88” had great rounds and ribbons in the 0.80/0.85 Jumpers
🤍Elizabeth Mras and “Booster Gold” had good ribbons in both the 3’ Thoroughbreds and middle Adults
🤍Aili Arnell’s “Orla ETC” had a clear round ribbon in the 0.90 with Mary Ficklin

Looking forward to our favorite shows of the year in a few weeks 🌳🌳🌳

Realizing I skipped right over our great time at Rose Mount Farm horse show!

➖Liz Mras and “Booster Gold” kicked off the 2026 season with Reserve Champion 3’ Thoroughbreds
➖Brooke Jenkins and her “Blueprint” made their 3’ Children’s debut with great ribbons including a first round classic score of 80!
➖Charlotte Coppola and “Cikito” had great ribbons in the Local Jr/Am division
➖Alex Dastjerdi and “Tarantino” had consistent rounds with ribbons in the Younger Adults and VHSA Adult Medal

As always, thank you to our team for a great week and Mauricio for everything.

Although our time was cut short at the first HITS Culpeper of the year, our horses welfare means far more than a competition.

Before our decision to leave on Friday, Mary Ficklin and “I Have a Dream” picked up 6th out of 28 2’6 USHJA entries then his kid, Peyton McDonald, rode to nice ribbons in the Pre-Child/Adult Hunters. Brooke Jenkins and her “Blueprint” had good ribbons including a win 🥇 under saddle in the 2’9 Modified Children’s.

We are fortunate to have a completely separate barn and fields to quarantine our show horses out of an abundance of caution over the next 2 weeks. Hoping everyone affected by this unforeseen crisis remains healthy!

Catching up with results from WEC Ohio Winter Classic #15

💙❤️💛Christine Clark and her “Wyatt’s Joy” took Champion in the Low Adults and 3rd in the Classic with a first round score of 84. The pair also did their first derby placing 8th.
💙Alyssa Whitfield and “Locarno 88” had a great show with clear ribbon rounds in the 0.8s, a win in the 0.7m, and 6th in the 0.8m Jr/Am Classic. They also did their first derby for fun and got bumped out of the ribbons by the last horse!

Great day at Morven Park schooling jumper rounds yesterday!

♦️Alyssa Whitfield and “Locarno 88” 🏆 win 🏆 the 2’6 section
♦️Jocelyn Hammond and her “Bittersweet” nailed the poles class for 4th
♦️Addie and Eliese Richbourg had their first show with “Reghitto”. Addie killed it for 2nd in the poles and then Mom got to take over for great rounds in the 18” and 2’ section placing 3rd in the 18”
♦️Chrissy Clark and her “Wyatt’s Joy” had beautiful jumper rounds ridden like a hunter course, slow and steady in preparation for WEC Ohio next week!
