Winter is officially here and with freezing temps upon us, we are asking for PET FRIENDLY ice melt this week.

We have a large parking lot and well-traveled sidewalks that need to stay safe for our volunteers, staff, adopters, and of course our dogs. The last thing we want is anyone slipping or falling while visiting or walking a pup. Because of this, we go through a LOT of ice melt each winter.

Pet Friendly Ice Melt is on our Amazon Wishlist, but drop-offs are great too!

We heard you’ve been browsssssss-ing for a new family member. Might we suggest Mojito. He has the brows for you! 🤨😍

Dude is ruffly 2️⃣ years old and 50ish lbs. We have not formally dog tested him yet, but we know he did live with two female dogs. 🐶 This guy is chill and enjoys his pets and snacks. He’s an easy man to please. Scoop these brows up before somebody else does! 🏡

🥊 ROCKY 🥊
New kid on the block, saved from the needle. His time was up 💉 but we said, “Give us that big head. We’ll love him and make sure he finds his people.” So, that’s what we’re doing — looking for some people! 👀

Rocky is 6️⃣ years old and 60 lbs. of muscle with a side of neck rolls. He loves to play, loves to be loved on, and hopes you keep snacks in your pockets just for him. 🙊 We haven’t formally dog tested him yet, but he seems nonreactive to other dogs.

🎀 Alis (pronounced like Aleise)
Surrendered after being dropped off at someone’s house. They kept her as long as they could but funds ran out so now she’s ours. ❤️‍🩹

Alis is a 10 month old active baby dog looking for some furever folks! 🏡 Anybody have room? Like to run 5Ks? Perfect. Take her with ya! This girl loves to run and play and be a goof. She’s said to be good with children, but doesn’t prefer the company of other dogs. At least not right off the bat. We think she potentially could with proper intros and time. 🐶

Miss Alis is 50 lbs. and a suspected Doberman/GSD mix. She loves going on walks and getting her sniffs in. Anybody?!

Meet Cleopatra 👑🐾

Cleopatra is a stunning 1 year old with a regal presence and a quiet confidence to match her name. Curious and affectionate, she enjoys being near her people and soaking up attention, as long as it is on her terms.

This lovely girl prefers to perch up high where she can observe her kingdom, watching the world go by. She is independent by nature and not a big fan of overly playful kittens, making her a great match for a calm, respectful home. Cleopatra has been around dogs with no issues and handles them like the queen she is.

“I’m just a baby.” — Cumin
Miss Cumin is back on the market, looking for some people. She recently met a family who loved her but we found out Cumin isn’t a fan of other dogs. So, we are on the hunt for someone looking to fill their hearts with Cumin and Cumin only. 🥰

Now when it comes to people, she doesn’t discriminate. If you have a heartbeat and two hands, you best get to scratchin’ her belly. Cu LOVES love.

This little lady is 3️⃣ years old and under 40 lbs. (she needs to gain some weight). She is so sweet, takes her treats gently, loves belly rubs, and is good in the bath! 🛁 And look at those eyes.

🤍 🌳 Jade hits the park!
20° ain’t nothin Miss Jade and her shnazzy coat can’t handle. Look at this goon. We can’t get enough of how happy this lug is. 😍 The pictures speak for themselves.

This girl will jump right in your car, or at least try to. She needs a boost. 🙂 She rode well in the backseat and walked well on leash. She mayyyyy or may not chase squirrels, but what dog doesn’t. 🤷🏼‍♀️ She knows how to sit and takes her treats gently. She slammed her Timmy Hos biscuit and asked I make it mandatory she gets Timmy Hos weekly with her adopters. 😜

Jade is 1️⃣ year old and 60 lbs. of pure love and kisses. She is dog selective, which is fine because meets are required with your dog anyways. ☺️

Somebody come scoop this ham up before the volunteers throw her in their car and never look back. 🙈
