The normal body temperature for dogs is between 99.5 and 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit. Take walks early in the morning or late at night. Never at the hottest part of the day. If you are making a “quick” trip to the store leave your fur baby at home.

Going to the Beach 🏖️
Hot sand can burn paws and can lead to overheating.

Fun activities at home:
plastic pool, sprinkler, cooling mat or make pupsicles

Provide:
Fresh water
Shade

Heatstroke Signs:
Excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, or vomiting

DOG OWNERS!!!! If you know your dog has anxiety or has high energy please look into one of these options. You will notice a difference in behavior as you work it in your daily routine. As a groomer working on a dog that is less stressed out make the process of grooming so much easier.
Also the cbd oil/treats can help dogs that have arthritis as well. So do your research and see what works best for you and your fur baby.
