You’re looking at a parasite called Cymothoa Exigua. It enters through a fish's gills, eats their tongue and then replaces it. This lil stinker literally sucks out the blood from the fish's tongue until it atrophies and falls off. The creature then attaches itself to the stub, becoming the fish's new tongue. Now, every time the fish eats, the Cymothoa Exigua takes away a portion of the food for itself.

I'm not sure if anyone knows but my shop was destroyed in a house fire on March 2 I wish I had a recommendation to send you to but unfortunately I don't. I hope to continue grooming but it will be awhile before I can get everything back and running again. I have had the best customers and fur parents I could ever ask for, thanks and hope to see you in the future
