Today is one of the hardest, but also most meaningful announcements I’ve had to make.
After a lot of thought, reflection, and honestly… accepting where life has taken me lately, I’ve made the decision to officially pass full ownership of Remedies Rescue over to my dad.
This rescue has been my heart since 2022. Every animal saved, every life changed, every late night, every tear, every win… it’s all a part of me. Remedies Rescue was never just something I did — it was a piece of who I am.
But over the past year, with my health declining and losing my home, life forced me to slow down in ways I wasn’t ready for. And in that time, my dad stepped in without hesitation. He didn’t just help — he carried this rescue for me when I couldn’t.
For years, he’s been by my side learning everything — from running the rescue to helping with my rattery — and I can truly say there is no one I trust more to continue what I started. He understands the mission, the heart behind it, and the love that goes into every single animal we take in.
Remedies Rescue has always been family-run… and it still is.
It just has a new family member leading the way now.
This isn’t goodbye — I will always be a part of this rescue in my heart (and probably still popping in when I can). But this is me making sure something I built with everything I had continues to grow, even when I need to take a step back.
Dad, thank you for saving not just the rescue… but a piece of me too.
And to everyone who has supported Remedies Rescue over the years — thank you. You helped make all of this possible.
