Dr. Loren Arena graduated from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2019. She is a compassionate veterinarian with a lifelong love of animals. When not in the clinic, she can often be found in nature. Her rescue, George, is her loyal canine companion.

Microchips can be a lifesaver when it comes to bringing lost pets home 🐕‍🦺

Today is Check the Chip Day, created by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) to remind pet owners to:
✔️ Microchip your pet if they don’t have one yet
✔️ Register the chip right away with your current info
✔️ Have your veterinarian scan it at each yearly checkup
✔️ Review and update the info every year

Don't forget, a microchip can be added to your custom Care Plan. Ask your veterinarian for more information. Microchipping is quick, easy, and could make all the difference if you ever get separated from your pet!

Tugger is part of , a nonprofit that helps recovering Service Members and Veterans reconnect with their families, communities, and each other through the healing power of canine companionship.

Tugger received a wellness check and vaccine boosters with Dr. Ortiz. He might be rookie of the year, but he's already an MVP in our book 🏟️ 💚
