My favorite thing about 4H fair is Horse and Pony Contesting night! This year I made sure I was able to sit down and watch the whole show!

These girls practiced with their horses just about every day for the last month! Every year they keep getting better and better!

Wow has it been a busy two weeks!

Wells Co 4-h fair 2025 came and went! The girls and their horses did amazing during that week! They all pretty much placed in every class!

I don't know how it happened but I got zero pictures of the minis show!

A huge thanks for Sweet Tea Photography for all she does and being able to take pictures of all the 4Hers! The hunt for the camera was a huge hit!

Jace and Shelbey showed poultry for their first time and had learned so much!

We made sure Ellie was living her best life that week. Soon as fair was over she had her tonsils and adenoids removed. She was so brave! Her only issues are mornings after waking up she complains about hurting.

Now this week is to play catch up and get back into the swing of things. I have only a few spots open for riding lessons till school starts!

Meet Mabel! An 8 year old haflinger!

Did you know that haflingers are known for being gentle, intelligent, and super easy to train! They are also known for being very people-lovey!

Mabel is super loving and has learned so many new things while at our farm! This was a huge change for her!

Ellie Jane is excited to help work with this cute little mare and show her what a little girl's love is all about!

Shelbey has been working hard with her horse Rain this winter! They been working on their showmanship and halter skills! Shelbey's goal this year is to feel more comfortable in a canter and work with Rain in mastering the pivot! I'm super excited to watch these two work together this year! This will be their 2nd year in 4H!
