Quincy - 11 yr old neutered male basset hound, up-to-date on his rabies, DA2PP, Lepto, Lyme, and Bordetella vaccinations. Weighs about 56 pounds. Gets along with other dogs and enjoys people. Can be "chatty".

He has only known one home for most of his life. Owner died in April. Family is selling the house and none of the adult "children" are able to take him.

NEED FOSTER HOME or FOREVER HOME as soon as possible. Currently located in NJ.

ADOPTED! Gracie is in her new forever home.

this girl came to MABHR from a KY shelter in January when she was seized from her home due to neglect, she was just 39 lbs and you could see every rib, back bone and hip bones on her body.

Gracie has never looked back on that rough life and is showered with love, attention and care, she’s looking for her forever home where she can thrive and blossom.

She is a beautiful tri-color girl who is about 6 years old with a southern sweet personality to match her gentle kindness and charm.

She rides well in a car, is crate trained, housebroken, and enjoys laying in the sun beams, she can roll over for belly rubs for hours on end.

She’s friendly to everyone, gets along well with other dogs and enjoys daily frozen peanut butter kongs. On a recent vet visit she weighed 48.5 lbs, way to go girl !

Gracie Rae is micro-chipped, current on all vaccinations and after her spay recovery will be ready for her new home, could that be yours?

She is being fostered in New Jersey.

Scooby is a 9 month old male basset mix, who loves to snuggle, wrestle with other dogs, and enjoys following you wherever you are in the house. He is learning to walk on the leash and is mostly house-trained with use of a doggie door.

Not sure how he is with children, cats, or other animals. He can be protective of his chew toys and needs to be kept busy with activity. He is a snuggler and very smart.

We need your help! Foster and adoptive homes needed for four Bloodhounds currently in foster care and one we have been asked to bring in. We also have a special needs basset hound being returned by adopters who did not provide the needed care for her and cannot afford to do so.
