They can hear an IV pump over a barking dog—and still hear the worry in your voice.
That’s our MGVEC crew. 🩺💙
At Middle Georgia Veterinary Emergency Center, we’re giving our veterinary technicians and assistants some much-deserved love! These incredible humans bring knowledge, grit, compassion, and a very necessary sense of humor to the world of emergency medicine.
One minute, they’re helping stabilize a critical patient. The next, they’re reassuring a worried family, untangling IV lines, or negotiating with a cat who has absolutely requested to speak to management. 😼😂
Through it all, they remember the little things:
🐾 An extra blanket for a patient who needs comfort.
🐾 A few minutes on the floor beside a frightened dog.
🐾 A gentle voice during an unfamiliar procedure.
🐾 Celebrating that first bite of food like their patient just won an Olympic medal.
That care matters. Every patient. Every shift. Every time.
To our team: Thank you for the long nights, the quick thinking, and the heart you put into this work. Thank you for catching the little changes, asking the important questions, and looking out for your patients and one another.
