Cox Arena

Directions

Arena used for team ropings, barrel racing and pole bending. Hosted by the Cox’s.

While we don’t do a lot of events here we are always looking for a few ways to open our arena to our equine loving friends throughout the year.

Glad to have my daughter out in the arena with me working our horses.

The coyotes have been really loud at night. Knew this day was coming. Glad it ran into the Bernese first and not the Toy Aussie at the end of the video. She would have been a nice little snack. Although CC thinks she is a BBIG dog lol

Meet Walter he is our young head horse cosplaying as a barrel horse for the day. Young inexperienced horses aren’t for the faint of heart and he had a patient jockey who let him work without overwhelming him.

Did a little barrel racing on Saturday it was fun to see friends and make another run on Cali. She is a rockstar, we love her and her jockey 😊

A nice fall evening to make some practice runs. Sis took Walter for a test ride. Fun to see the kids take a horse I’ve been working on make a nice cruise through.

This goat should have his own page. He has the best hair and beard 😂

Lefty is an all around guy. We mainly used him as a breakaway horse but he has done it all. Goats, breakaway, barrels and at some point he was team roped on. He is looking for a new home. He is a grade gelding. When I had his teeth done last fall he thought he was around 17. Solid as they come.
