Toby's mom passed away.
Toby needs to be vet checked and disease tested before we can intake him in our sanctuary. Toby will also need a sponsor since his mom had no money and lived in a trailer. Anyone out there willing to help Toby come to a safe refuge please donate.
Toby's Vet bill will be between $500 - $600
Toby needs a new cage $350 - $500 we can buy atwholesale cost.
His sponsorship is $2,000 per year or $125 per Month.
I know this is a very tough time for all of us as we are all experiencing a set back for this coronavirus but if you are able please help Toby.

Hi Paula,
I spoke to you last night about my sister’s parrot, Toby. I am waiting for her to send me a picture of him so I can send it to you. Toby has not been to a vet for a long time. My vet, Dr. Dazen, from Animal & Bird Healthcare, I contacted this morning. They can do the testing Toby needs before you can accept him at a cost of $500-$600. I am in the process of asking other family and friends to help pay this cost. Toby’s cage is older, but if I can get Tracy to take him out. I should be able to scrub it down. Honestly, I don’t get that close to his cage to know what shape it is in. I do know my sister has been sick with cancer since 2016 and has other health problems. It is not easy for her to take care of Toby.
You mentioned registration for Toby which was never done. What other costs do I need to cover before you can accept him? I appreciate you saying you would put him on your website to be sponsored. I just feel the need to get Toby to you as soon as possible so I can concentrate on helping my sister in other ways.

I am sorry I didn’t contact you again. My sister, Tracy, started full brain radiation on Monday. After the treatment was done, her oxygen was very low and she was shaking uncontrollably. The oncologist called an ambulance and sent her to the ER. Tracy has pneumonia and will be in the hospital for a few days. I will get a picture of Toby and get him to a vet as soon as possible.

My sister, Tracy, passed away a few days after coming home from the hospital on March 21st.
Toby is still at my sister’s house being cared for by the neighbor. I would still like to get Toby to your rescue. I don’t know how everything is going to work with the state pretty much shut down. I need to get Toby to my vet and have the tests done.
I will send a picture. Please let me know what steps to follow.
