It's no secret that the ticks are already out in full force this season! We are now offering Credelio Quattro in our office and it has been a huge hit. We love that it has a fast speed of kill for ticks and additionally prevents fleas, heartworms, hookworms, roundworms, AND tapeworms. We made time earlier this week to celebrate Raelynn and thank her for her 14 years of dedication to Wamego Vet Clinic as she transitions to retirement. Whether you're walking in the door or calling on the phone, she greets everyone with a smile and a helpful attitude. We will all miss seeing her regularly, but know she will stay busy with her multitude of other hobbies like gardening, tending to her flowers, quilting, and her artwork. You may still see her around as she fills in as needed, but be sure to thank her for her many years of service to our clinic!

Finn wants everyone to know he will beat you in a staring contest! 😹👀

This adorably handsome Maine C**n kitten weighed in at a thick 6 lbs for his 3 month visit the other day. He is going to be a giant ball of fluff!

This past weekend Dr. Pachta was named Citizen of the Year by the Wamego Chamber of Commerce. Please join us in congratulating him on such a great achievement!

The Citizen of the Year award is given to an individual in the Wamego community who donates their time and talents to help keep our wonderful small town thriving. Not only does Dr. Pachta keep this ship afloat, but he is also heavily involved in the Wamego Community Foundation, Wamego Chamber of Commerce, acting as the wizard during Oztoberfest, volunteering with his church, and many other community activities. He's basically the energizer bunny!

Congrats on your achievements, Dr. Pachta, we are all so proud of you!!

Merry Christmas to all of our favorite pets and humans!

We had our staff Christmas party a couple of weeks ago and couldn't resist sharing some pictures from the evening. It was a great night of bowling, eating, laughing, and just a little beer! Dr. Rottinghaus had so much fun volunteering her time to talk with first graders at Central Elementary this week! They got to learn about what a veterinarian does every day, diagnose problems with x-rays, touch bladder stones, and discuss different surgical procedures. Everyone was very engaged in the presentation and approximately 300 questions were answered. 😁

Hansel and Gretel (PPAWS rescues) needed help to create the perfect Christmas card picture so Kelsey came to the rescue!

We love working with Purple PAWS and are so grateful for the help they provide animals in our community. These cuties already have homes, but there are so many more that need a warm home for the holidays.
