FarmHer's Log: loading the pigs in the livestock trailer is not my least favorite task but it can be difficult, frustrating and usually involves more running (and sometimes wrestling) than I would like to admit. I think this is the first time that the kids have helped wrangler and not just thrown treats from afar. I'm thankful for their help!

Back by request and popular demand...... the grasshopper annihilation continues. The kids were good at spotting them, catching them and the camera work and commentary are much appreciated. Bye bye grasshoppers!

FarmHer's Log: Here's my second favorite way of disposing of farm pests. I spend about half an hour collecting these critters in a milk jug and then gift them to the tiny dinos as a tasty treat. This makes me really popular with the tiny dinos!
