We are overflowing with eggs! If you need eggs, message the farm page. Our prices have stayed the same as years past, and delivery is an option.

A new plan may be an option, which would be a designated pick-up spot if I have several people. This could also drop the price of eggs. 😊

Chickens are fed a Non-Gmo feed with freedom of the outdoors!

Our family is thankful for our own Marine Corps Veteran and would like to extend our gratitude to ALL the vets out there (both 2 legged and 4 legged) for their service. They are the reason we get to enjoy our freedoms, this amazing country, and are safe when we lay our heads down to sleep.

On top of a busy show day, we were lucky enough to be able to help a fellow nigerian breeder in exchange for helping further Rosalie's mini rex breeding. We traded a nice buckling and a broken black mini rex doe for 2 broken black otter does and a harlequin mini rex buck! Rosalie is excited to add to her lines, and we are happy to help someone else add to their Nigerian herd.

We have KL Hops Muffin and KL Hops Chloe for the does. Then the buck is named "Uncle Rad"

First ADGA show in the books for us, and it sure was an experience. We brought 1 senior, 2 juniors, and our buck Dakota to the Jersey Classic Goat Show.

We learned a lot about our Nigerian herd! We are happy to have our 2 juniors place 12th/18 and 17th (2 judges-all new to us 😂) out of over 30 intermediate kids! The competition was tough, and many breeders who placed at Nationals were there. It's good to know we are heading in the right direction with just a few short years of breeding under our belts.

Our Buck was not feeling the cold and rain, so after 1 judging, we pulled him from the show. He was too cold and wanted nothing more than his warm straw and hay (I completely agreed with him)😂

That wraps up goat showing for the year. Next is finalizing our breeding plans and looking forward to next year.

Our next Buck highlight for the season is Whimsy Woods Midas Touch, known here as Dakota. His sire just recently made the Elite list, and his Dam has been cleaning up in the ring, winning Grand Champion. Although he is a yearling, he has a way of showing, through his daughters, just how well he can improve our does. He will be hitting the show ring this weekend, and we are excited to see how he stacks up!

It feels like fall is right around the corner, which means goat breeding season! The boys are starting to gain their stink again 🤣

We want to highlight our boys of the herd.

First up is Goats@Grace Hill M Biff Tannen, known as Scout here on the farm. He is our youngest buck, a recent new edition, and we are excited to see him grow. He has some great lines behind him, and his Dam is incredible. He's a friendly little guy, and we are happy to have him here.

Next week, the girls and I will be bringing a few goats to a show, including our other buck, Dakota.

And Ezra released her hostage 🤣 We were so hoping for a heifer this time, but Ezra is consistent with providing us with bull calves. This little guy is a High/Dex Jersey cross.

On the positive side, Carmen wants him as her 4h project, and I'm back to fresh milk and butter 😋

The kids are so involved in the inner workings of raising livestock, it's amazing to see.

We are currently on calve watch for our Jersey cow Ezra! We are hoping for today 😁

But we also wanted to highlight our first litter of Netherland Dwarf rabbits. These babies are almost 2 weeks old, and their mom is doing a GREAT job at being a mother.

Another great day of showing at our fair!
Carmen's meat pen took Grand Champion! Her Holland Lop took 2nd in Jr. Buck.
Rosalie's Mini Rex took Reserve Best of Breed, her Holland Lop does took 2nd and 4th.
Wyatt's Netherland Dwarf Buck took Reserve Best of Breed.

The kids had a great time showing and learning where they need to improve upon with their rabbits.
