Happy Halloween from all of us at Waller Dog Rescue!

We interrupt your weekend with a short sad story and a plea for help. We had someone who desperately needed to turn over an eight week old puppy she received yesterday from a Harris county shelter. She was spayed. Yes, spayed one day ago 😢. She has had her initial shots and dewormer and is in great spirits and seems to be in good health. She is with a temporary foster now, but we are seeking out a foster or potentially a foster to adopt for this little girl. Kennel, food, and toys along with second and third booster shots and rabies will be included. Thankful to the temporary foster who stepped up this weekend so we were able to help this poor baby. Due to the current situation at our local public shelters, we are trying our best to help this young puppy so she is not funneled back into the system.

Please message our page for any information.

WE would like to 📣SHOUT OUT 📣 a huge THANK YOU!!! We were desperately low on toys for our residents and WOW did you deliver!! 📦 The past few days around here have been like Christmas morning!! The pups have enjoyed opening their gifts and chasing their new toys around. 🎾🦴The mental health of our residents is a top priority and you have made it possible to keep them entertained and happy while they wait to meet their forever families. 🐾

This time of year is tough on brick & mortar rescues. Everyone is busy, holidays are approaching and schedules fill up. Our pups are a great stress relief! Come get some free snuggles and more love than you can handle all while helping take care of their daily needs. 2 hours a week or even twice monthly would be a great help to our staff. We are in need of some extra hands and would be happy to help answer any questions! Maybe you just would like to get involved locally? Need those volunteer hours? Come join our team!

Waller Dog Rescue is 100% Volunteer run. We are looking for volunteers to help at our facility with animal care! Daily morning & afternoon shifts available. Flexible hours. Do you have 2 hours to help us out?
