Birds and almost birds of Walla Walla! After the sad tragedy last year, the aviary has added new peacocks, peafowls, and even turkeys! Some of the pheasants were moved to the main enclosure which also houses a turtle. The black swans are still there with three cygnets. Lotsa eggs and babies around.

Let's protect our restaurant workers!

Hello friends and family,
We are asking for your help—your voice. Please sign and share this petition asking for Government officials and Washington State Department of Health to provide a clear path towards vaccination timeline for restaurant employees. It takes less than two minutes!

We believe it is past due to have clarity on when restaurant workers will be included in vaccine eligibility. We have not wanted to push ahead of critical and essential workers such as nurses and doctors, or those at high risk due to age or comorbidities, however, as we move forward towards opening up with more capacity, there is still no clear direction from our state when restaurant workers will be included.

Dining out in a restaurant is still considered a highest-risk activity and were one of the first industries to shut down in operations. We are now asking for more answers in vaccination efforts to help protect our families and our guests.
