We strive to produce sound minded solid structured longcoat German Shepherds capable of any venue or job put before them. Our dogs are balanced, and while can be high prey driven, they are capable of shutting off and being calm collective family members as well. We have dogs in handicap assist, therapy, medical alert, SAR, scent detection, PPD, shed retrieval, and fabulous pet homes!

I saw this today on the web and thought “how true is this!”. 💕Puppies are babies and we expect so much from them when it is in fact our own shortfalls when it comes to puppy parenting. Give them grace, set them up for success and enjoy the crazy! 🤪 They grow too fast as is 🫶

Does 🔑 Heiress 🗝️ look like she would try to eat one of my guineas?! She didn’t-however she did think they were funny to look at! 🤡 If left unattended I have no doubt this innocent face would wreak havoc on my birds 😅 Heiress is a fourth generation for me here at Royal K9 and I could not be more pleased with her🥰 Her prelims looked great and she is also DM clear as well as MdR1 clear!

Dog owners of every breed should be more educated on the repercussions of poor nails. The degree of which a dog must walk with long or untrimmed toe nails is painful and can lead to so so many joint and muscle problems in long term cases! Training and tolerance starts when they are puppies and we do our best to ensure each pup has 2-3 nail trims prior to leaving us! My adults are trimmed on the regular as well. To be honest some do actually hate it but we MAKE them get them. Some could care less and will fall asleep on the groom table. Making your dog obey doesn’t make them fear you or loathe you it makes them respect you. Let’s normalize nail care in our four legged loved ones and eliminate some of the easily preventable joint ailments that would be no different than a pebble in a shoe!

After two weeks of 100+ temps we had a reprieve! Over cast cooler weather with a slight breeze…dogs love this weather and the chance to relax. I enjoy the chance to get caught up without the stress of the heat! During times of extreme heat my pups are inside in the ac. They each know which crate is theirs and race us to the door! I have a live feed camera on the thermometer inside so I always know what’s going on. Gives me peace of mind while they chillax during the day.

🥰We have been hammered with emails regarding available puppies🥰 Currently, we have three females available. They won’t be old enough to leave until the end of this month. All three are sable longcoats and man are they the sweetest! I did a through planning of half show half working line on this breeding- a plan I did years ago with huge success in the outcome. 🏆 Pups from these lines made huge headway in therapy, handicap assist, medical alert, protection, sport, and k9 jobs. 🏆Anyone with a Harper or River baby knows this! I expect nothing less from these girls and I intend to keep one for myself for this exact reason!

🥰Reign and Hondo litter four weeks old🥰 Don’t be fooled by these fuzzy little faces- they are alert and bold and will give deep little growls until they waddle up to sniff us with wagging tails! They are starting to crawl into my lap, and have begun pushing scent balls around in their whelp box. 😊Next week we will implement various toys and sounds to further embolden them for their future homes!♥️ We have girls still seeking forever homes.
